Silvis, Illinois.- El veterano jugador Darren Clarke tuvo un d\u00eda muy movido, hoy este nor irlandes con bastante experiencia en este torneo, hizo 5 birdies, un \u00e1guila, 3 bogeys y un doble bogey para entregar su tarjeta con 68 golpes (-2) por segunda vez consecutiva y de esta manera volver a liderar el Open en su segunda ronda, lo hizo hace 14 a\u00f1os, all\u00ed termin\u00f3 de segundo.<\/p>\n

En cuanto al grupo de habla hispana, hoy se quedaron fuera varios de ellos, pero el andaluz Miguel Angel Jim\u00e9nez se mantuvo pegado a los l\u00edderes a pesar de unas condiciones m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles en el campo, \u00abel mec\u00e1nico\u00bb, como se le conoce en el mundo del golf por su afici\u00f3n a los carros, jug\u00f3 para 71 golpes (+1) y empata el tercer lugar junto al alem\u00e1n Martin Kaymer y el dinamarqu\u00e9s Thomas Bjorn con 3 bajo par.<\/p>\n

Mientras que el castellano Sergio Garc\u00eda logr\u00f3 quedar en even por segundo d\u00eda, 70 golpes, para colocarse en el puesto 19, en muy buena posici\u00f3n para atacar ma\u00f1ana.\n<\/p>\n

Es de hacer notar que dos j\u00f3venes amateurs lograron pasar el corte, el ingl\u00e9s Tom Lewis, quien caus\u00f3 sensaci\u00f3n ayer en el opening y el norteamericano Peter Uihlein, Lewis no tuvo un buen d\u00eda con 74 golpes (+4) pero con el score de ayer qued\u00f3 en el puesto 14 con -1 y el Uihlein jug\u00f3 para 71 golpes (+1) de nuevo para quedar en el spot 45, el corte qued\u00f3 en -3.\n<\/p>\n
