Akron, OH.- El Barracuda Championship es un torneo que se juega en la modalidad de Modified Stableford, que en vez de restar suma. Aguilas suman 5, Birdies 2, Pares 0, bogeys -1 y m\u00e1s de 2bogeys -3. En el inicio de este torneo el norteamericano se adelant\u00f3 a todos y luego de un gran performance logra sumar 18 puntos para ponerse al frente del torneo con 2 de ventaja sobre los australianos Geoff Ogilvy y Tim Wilkinson que con una suma de 16 puntos cada uno escoltan al estadounidense, les sigue el sueco Martin Laird con 13 puntos.<\/p>\n

El argentino Miguel Angel Carballo jug\u00f3 muy s\u00f3lido y esto le permiti\u00f3 sumar hasta 10 puntos que le ubicaron en el lugar 22 del torneo con muchas posibilidades de pasar el corte. El Pigu Andr\u00e9s Romero sigue trenzando su camino a mantener su tarjeta para la pr\u00f3xima temporada, hoy el tucumano tuvo algunos altibajos, sin embargo cerr\u00f3 su ronda en muy buena forma para colocarse en el puesto 40 de la clasificaci\u00f3n sumando 7 puntos.. El tercer argentino en juego Sebasti\u00e1n Saavedra no estuvo tan atinado y ocupa la casilla 100. Por su parte, el venezolano Jhonattan Vegas no pudo con la cancha y se hundi\u00f3 en errores comprometiendo su pase a la final al quedar con -2 en el puesto 117.<\/p>\n
