El caribe\u00f1o inici\u00f3 su jornada por el hoyo 10, donde pudo hacer de las suyas con su gran punter\u00eda, embocando 4 birdies sin errores. Luego al regreso, Vegas baj\u00f3 la producci\u00f3n, manteniendo su tino con 8 pares seguidos hasta que lleg\u00f3 a su hoyo final, un par 5, arranc\u00e1ndole su \u00faltimo pajarito del d\u00eda para estampar su r\u00fabrica en el cart\u00f3n con 67 strokes (-5) que le permiti\u00f3 comenzar la clasificaci\u00f3n empatando el s\u00e9ptimo lugar de la competencia. Por su parte, el argentino Emiliano Grillo sigue por el buen sendero, viene de hacer un top 10 y aunque hoy no qued\u00f3 all\u00ed, se le vio c\u00f3modo en el campo.
